A favorite destination in Red Wing, Minnesota, Braschler's Bakery installed a flat-screen TV above the counter to cross-sell customers as they are being served or are waiting. The video is updated quarterly and features seasonal bakery items and behind-the-scenes footage of how it's all made, which people really seem to enjoy watching.

Nancy Braschler told me that one of the best compliments received for the video was when a customer who was watching it said to the clerk, "Oh, I just love the Food Network."

Last I heard was that Bob and Nancy retired and the bakery has a new owner in one of its long-time bakers. Don't go changin'. Great stuff there.
